Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
This policy explains how we handle consumer health data under the Washington My Health My Data Act and similar laws in Nevada, Connecticut and other states. We apply it to everyone. It is part of our Privacy Policy.
Health data we collect
Symptom answers and scores (including the Menopause Rating Scale), cycle and period dates, hormone therapy use and side effects you log, supplements and medications you list, skin changes, whether you have spoken to a doctor, lab result files and wearable or cycle-app data you choose to share, and anything about your health you write in free-text fields.
Where it comes from
Directly from you, and from files or exports you choose to upload.
Why we collect it
To show your check results, create your weekly reports and doctor-ready summaries, and improve the accuracy of those reports. We never use it for advertising.
Your consent
We ask for separate, specific consent before we collect health data, and again before we share it with anyone other than the service providers below. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing hi.betterskin@gmail.com.
Who receives it
Only these service providers, each bound by a contract to use it only for us:

We do not sell consumer health data
We would need your separate, signed authorisation to do so, and we have no plans to ask.
Your rights
You can confirm whether we hold your health data, see it, see the list of every third party it was shared with, delete it and withdraw consent. Email hi.betterskin@gmail.com with the subject “Health data request”. We respond within 45 days. If we refuse, you can appeal by replying; we answer appeals within 45 days, and if you still disagree you can contact your state Attorney General.
Location
We do not use location tracking or geofencing around health facilities.
